It was a great pleasure to meet and do business with James and Robyn Dunbar.
We met James and his gorgeous paintings at the West Linn Art Fair this past summer. We were immediately "drawn" to James' art because of his bold use of color and texture. We loved many of his pieces but especially the paintings of flowers and naturescapes. We were able to work with James to come up with a one-of-a-kind beachscape for our house on the Oregon Coast. He created a work consisting of a spectacular multi-colored sky, rolling waves and white surf, wind-blown beach sand and (our favorite part) bright red textured poppies in the foreground alongside tall,slender beach grass that are so life-like they literally pop out at you. His mix of colors, rich textures and inspiring scenery make for a very emotional painting, one that we are delighted to hang in our home and enjoy everyday.
James and Robyn were so easy to work with, very professional but friendly and down-to-earth and not enough can be said about James' talent and creativity.
Not only do we own a one-of-a-kind painting but it was done quickly and for a very reasonable price. A thing of beauty is truly a joy forever and we have our very own, original Dunbar beauty! Thank you James.
